Our Junior Art lecture series is an important part of the art program. It provides context for art in history. As juniors take Western Civilization for their history class, they are studying the various artists and architects during each period, and will look at what was occurring in the world that affected the art of the time. A critical understanding of Classical Christian education is the integration of subjects. Making sure students understand how art affects culture and vice versa is just one example.
