Westminster Academy offers girls and boys basketball during the winter season to all grade levels.

Gary Greer
Varsity / Junior Varsity Boys Basketball
Coach Greer began coaching in 1983 and recently has worked basketball camps for former NBA players Anfernee Penny Hardaway, Todd Day and Tony Delk, along with former U of M Tiger coaches John Calipari and Tic Price. “I love coaching the young men of Westminster. Basketball is a game that not only demands speed and endurance, but it also demands that the players be poised under pressure and play every inch of the court every minute of the game.”
Jud Cannon
Varsity Girls Basketball
Coach Cannon is a 1983 graduate of the University of Memphis. Jud is a life-long
sports enthusiast as a competitive tennis player, triathlete and golfer. He
played many years of high level, competitive basketball including AAU travel
teams, the Bluff City Classic summer league and as a 4 year letterman at CBHS in
Memphis. He has coached boys and girls basketball for more than 12 years. He
emphasizes fundamentals, individual improvement and team play. Coach Cannon begins his 7th year coaching at Westminster Academy.
Jamaal Mack
Junior Varsity Girls Basketball
Coach Mack is in his second year coaching the JV girls basketball
team. Currently, he serves as recreation Director at Evergreen Presbyterian Church.
