Grammar School 2nd grade teacher (beginning Fall of 2018)

Westminster Academy in Memphis TN, seeks a 2nd grade teacher who is passionate about God, children, and Classical Christian education, and whose desire is to cultivate wisdom and virtue in the souls of second grade students through instruction across the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be a gifted teacher and joyful communicator, able to relate well to second graders. Westminster Academy is growing and seeks a qualified full-time Upper School Rhetoric teacher (beginning Fall of 2018). Candidates should have a degree in a related field, a passion for both writing and philosophy, and a desire to learn and grow in their understanding of classical Christian education. The ideal candidate will be eager to teach classically, build a biblical worldview for students, and to collaborate with other faculty members across disciplines to foster integration. The applicant must also possess a love of students and a passion for mentoring and discipleship.
