Summer Camp for Rising 2nd-5th Graders

Led by Bits, Bytes, and Bots

Everything Is Awesome! Campers will learn to create their own awesome stop-motion animated movies with titles, credits, and sound effects. Campers may bring their own Lego pieces or other action figures to enhance their movies; Legos, tablets, and any other required supplies are provided by the camp. The movies will be sent out to each camper for in-home viewing following the camp.

Led by WA Third Grade Teacher, Mrs. Julie Davis

A crime wave has hit Westminster Academy and it is up to Mrs. Davis and the student sleuths of CSI: Westminster to uncover whodunit! Each day at CSI Camp, students are faced with a challenge that must be solved using a variety of scientific inquiries, like fingerprinting, ink-identification, and so much more. Logic skills will also be front and center as students reason through the evidence to solve these mysteries. Our scriptural devotions will include a meditation on Psalm 139 and the God from whom no things are hidden, not even the secrets of our hearts.

Let’s spend some relaxing time just playing some fun games together. Brain Games, Card Games, Board Games, Guessing Games….anything is possible! Winning is possible.

Laughter guaranteed.

Led by WA MS Boys Soccer Coach, Mr. Julius James

Camps are divided by age, gender, and/or skill level and will focus on the fundamentals of each sport. Coaches are all Westminster-affiliated, creating a seamless transition from summer camps into school-year athletics programs. Daily devotions will draw from the many scriptures that utilize the analogy of the athlete and how character is built through trials.

Camp will incorporate both individual “skills and drills” practice and team scrimmage play.

Led by WA Grammar School Art Teacher, Mrs. Lindsey Ozier

Join us for a week of hands-on clay fun! Alongside learning the basics of sculpture, campers will be working on several projects to take home at the end of week. They will learn about the changes clay undergoes as it dries and fires, as well as learning about our WA kiln. Devotions for the week will center on the imagery in Scripture of God as the Potter and his children as the clay, and what that means for us in our daily lives.

Led by Creative Education Services

No gloves ... no problem! Join us in a battle of wit and creativity each day. Lego enthusiasts will tap into their genius through guided free-build missions, interactive team-driven Lego competitions, and our ultimate Battle Royale. This week will focus on STEAM (science, tech, engineering, art, math) through computational thinking, design, creativity, and more. Grab a friend and let the battle begin!
