Summer Camp for Rising JK-1st Graders
The psalmist declared, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). All creation was created “good,” according to Genesis 1, but the first “very good” creation was mankind, who was made in the very image of God. Campers will explore these texts and bring life to them through a series of self-portraits. A range of artistic techniques will be used, including papier-mâché, collage, drawing, and painting.
1st graders will join 2nd-9th grade friends for this camp.
Come and celebrate your un-birthday with the Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts, and the rest of the insane and inane crew. This classic musical follows Alice as she falls down the rabbit hole and encounters all types of strange and fantastical creatures. Beginners are welcome as we learn the basics of stage movement, choreography, and group singing. Bring your own lunch.
Our two-week musical intensive will culminate in a show for family and friends. Join us on July 24 at 2:00 p.m.
HappyFeet uses nursery rhymes, songs, stories and fun games with a soccer ball to train motor skill development, dynamic dribbling, shooting skills and fitness. The HappyFeet curriculum is designed to gradually develop ever more advanced physical skills. To make sure every child has a positive experience, HappyFeet classes are non-competitive with each student playing with his/her own Bob the ball.
1st graders will join 2nd-5th grade friends for this camp.
Come join us as we re-create Anakin’s workshop! Campers will tinker away and use robotic LEGOS to build fantastic Star Wars creations.
